Centre-in-Charge – Audiology Centre (Hung Hom) (Ref. No.: AC (HH) - UIC)

    Job Duties

    • Provide diagnostic audiological assessments and professional hearing care services
    • Conduct hearing aid selection, fitting, verification, and follow-up services
    • Provide ear impressions, assistive listening device services, counselling, and rehabilitation support
    • Manage complex audiological cases and provide professional consultation
    • Coordinate daily operations of the Audiology Centre with overseeing appointment scheduling, staffing arrangements, facilities, and equipment management
    • Monitor service quality, documentation, statistics, and administrative processes
    • Handle frontline operational issues, enquiries, and service-related matters
    • Support staff supervision, training, and professional development
    • Collaborate with other audiology centres and departments
    • Participate in outreach activities, service promotion, quality improvement initiatives, and new service development projects

     

    Job Requirement:

    • Possess a Master degree in Audiology or an equivalent qualification from a recognized overseas institution
    • Registered Audiologist accredited by the Hong Kong Institute of Audiologists is highly preferred
    • Minimum 5 years of clinical audiology experience with solid experience in hearing assessment, hearing aid services, and audiological rehabilitation
    • Strong clinical judgement and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently with good organizational and time management skills
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coordination abilities
    • Previous experience in staff supervision, mentoring, training, or team coordination will be an advantage

    The salary for the above position will be determined with reference to the Master Pay Scale (MPS) commonly adopted by NGOs. Fringe benefits include medical insurance, birthday leave, marriage leave, compassionate leave, and other employee benefits. Successful candidates will be entitled to 18 days of paid annual leave, increasing progressively according to length of service.
